NRA Club presents Charlton Heston with a custom NAA .22 Magnum Mini-Revolver

The NRA recognized The Snake River Sportsmen, an NRA Affiliated Club located in Ontario, Oregon, as the Most Outstanding NRA Club in the nation in a ceremony held at the NRA Museum in Fairfax, Virginia on September 18, 2002. As part of a ceremony, a custom North American Arms Magnum Mini-Revolver was given to Mr. Charlton Heston, NRA President.  Bob Williams, Snake River Sportsmen shooting club President, presented the gun to Edward J. Land, NRA Secretary.

The .22 Magnum Mini-Revolver with a custom serial number of "C HESTON 1" has the popular folding Magnum Holster Grip. The revolver sits in a custom-made oak display box with an NRA pin in one corner and an NAA pin in the other. The revolver will be displayed at the NRA Museum in Fairfax, Virginia.

NAA General Manager Ken Friel worked with the club on this project and had this to say: "This gift is our way of expressing our thanks to Mr. Heston for his years of dedicated service to the NRA on behalf of all law-abiding gun owners."
