Yup, that IS the same Ann Romney. It IS true, Mitt is a Mormon, but polygamy has been LONG outlawed in the Mormon Church, but you probably knew that. So, there's only ONE wife here--and that you knew, too. So, your point is....what....??? I've allowed my wife to stay home to raise our kids (we have four), but only SOME of the time, not all. I wished I had made more money such that my wife could have quit her job, even though for some of our marriage, she has only worked part-time, and other times, she stayed home (when the kids were much younger).. So, I applaud Mitt Romney for being able to provide for his large Mormon family, so his wife could do the most important job of her life, and one that is greatly overlooked by people like the woman in this video--and, it seems, perhaps by people like you as well. He is trying to create very clear contrasts and, by virtue of creating them, create the lines where he and his team want them. It is the democrats intention to very much make this an "us against them" debate rather than actually discussing any actual issues that we face now. They would rather talk about birth control than the economy. They would rather talk about adjusted unemployment numbers than the economy. They would rather talk about the so called 1% than an oversized federal government. Lets keep it simple: Its the economy stupid. When confronted with manipulated numbers lets simply ask the question - with all the hope and change you were promised (and billions or trillions of dollars spent) are YOU better off then you were 4 years ago? Has the federal government in the past four years and our President done his sworn duty to uphold and defend the Constitution? BHO does not want to talk about the issues that our government SHOULD be dealing with such as the economy, trade agreements, and Constitutional rights. Sorry Collector, got lost in some other stuff. Rosen was not trying to talk about economic issues as she claims. She was making a personal attack and was surprised anyone called her on it. After Giffords shooting it was Obama who stood up and argued for civility in politics. As the president he is supposed to LEAD. Personally I think his remarks should be replayed after every negative ad he or his super PACs run - along with all his complaints about PACs and promises not to use them. Obama is ineffectual as a leader and incredibly hypocritical. Even so I am willing to say that this campaign should be about the issues - starting with the billions of dollars given to the banks that seem to have simply evaporated. I understand the concept of "spending out of a recession" even if I disagree with it on the basis. However he did not even succeed at doing that because his spending had no leadership behind it. Obama would make a pretty good press secretary. PS - everytime someone questions Romney's foreign policy knowledge the GOP should replay Obama's 57 states comments. Unfortunately many of those who vote would not understand the issue. | ||

Interestingly, MSNBC has finally posted that it is the season of "manufactured controversies." http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/13/11180891-first-thoughts-the-silly-season?lite What they DON'T MENTION is that President Obama started it with The Holy War on Freedom of Religion, which the Demoncrats renamed to The War on Women to distract away from what Obama was doing. As soon as the "manufactured controversies" hurt their side, then they acknowledge they are happening, but don't acknowledge all of them. What a weird political season. | ||
