My grandfather is 80 years young, he doesnt look a year over 70 though. He keeps moving, cutting and splitting his own wood, tinkering in his wood/metal shop, going for daily walks, snowblowing his driveway in the winter (he lives in the Tug Hill NY area, LOTS of snow), and generally just keeps moving. Winter does bring him more naps, but the rest of the year he is out and active. While he doesnt carry a gun (he is licensed to and has a .25auto that he has also allowed me to put on my permit) but in his area of NY, no one is dumb enough to start anything with anyone. I only hope I am in as good of condition when I am his age. I will have a gun on me, however |
